Top 5 Ways To Get Banned From The Chat Room!

The chat room is a place for everyone to enjoy and have fun, however, if you do not follow the rules (specifically #1, #2, #3, #5-8) you will get banned.

You will get *only* 1 (one) warning, second occurrence you will be banned up to 24 hrs from the chat room.

Here at Hairlista, we ask that EVERYONE be a chat room monitor (more eyes the better!). If you notice any behaviour that violates the rules, quote the person (what they said and record their user name/profile URL) and forward that information over to the Site Moderators ASAP.

Here are the Top 5 Ways to get banned from the Hairlista Chat Room:

1. Spamming and Advertising
   
2. Using foul language.
3. Repeatedly taking control of the room by flooding it with your own entries/convo.
4. Consistently using ALL CAPITAL LETTERS in a chat room. This is considered yelling and is rude.
5. Posting links/comments that abuse, attack, disrespect, embarrass, or threaten anyone else in the chat room or on Hairlista. If you do not agree with a chatter, express your opinion in a respectful manner.

Remember, if you witness anyone violating these rules, please Contact one of the Mods immediately with details (i.e. user name, profile URL, brief description of what took place).

To avoid getting banned, please familiarize yourself with the Rules of Behaviour.

Hairlista Is Looking For 5 More Forum Moderators!

We are currently on the hunt for 5 more Site Moderators to add to our team. The Hairlista Inc. member database is growing rapidly, therefore; we have to increase our moderator team to ensure the site stays maintained, organized and free of conflict.

The new moderators will be announced March 3rd, 2012.

Here are the requirements to become a Forum Moderator:

1. Must be an active Hairlista.
   
2. Obtain great problem solving & computer skills.
3. Understands and applies the Hairlista Inc. Site Rules (http://www.hairlista.com/forum/topics/official-hairlista-site-and).
4. Great Listener and willing to help others i.e. site questions, newbie help etc.
5. Must have MSN Messenger and/or Twitter for quick contact.

Also, please give a brief explanation as to why you would be a great Hairlista Moderator :)
